Utah Elk - Hunt #35-E

Do you want to take a trophy bull without waiting a decade or more to draw a coveted tag? Do you want to kill a trophy bull without making ten trips to do it? Would you like to use your weapon of choice, including a rifle, during the rut? If you said yes to these questions, this may be the hunt for you.

This large private ranch in southern Utah has guaranteed tags but they are very limited. Bulls in the 380-400 range have been harvested along with many more in the 350-370 range. Shooting opportunity has run 100%.

This is open country and relatively flat – about as easy as it gets for elk hunting. Hunts are conducted by spot-and-stalk, ambush and calling in the bulls.

Hunts are held in September and early October. Only 3 hunters taken per week. License cost is $860 and obtained through the outfitter.

Food and lodging are not included. However there is a cabin hunters can use if they choose to for no charge.

It is best to plan a year or two ahead on this hunt because of the limited number of hunters taken and the high demand for this premium hunt.
