Wyoming Deer & Elk Combo – Hunt #06-EMD

Private ranch hunt combo hunt for deer and elk. This hunt offered on a very limited basis — only two hunters per week.

A high % of the bulls score from 300-350 B&C with some larger and the mule deer 150-170 B&C with an occasional 180+. Considering that the shot opportunity has been over 90%, this hunt is a great option for the hunter looking to harvest two western trophies on one trip.

Hunting method is primarily glassing and then spot and stalk.

It is recommended that hunters apply for a preference point for elk ($50) during the July 1 – September 30 period. Having the point greatly increases the odds of being drawn. We will assist with applying for the preference point. It is also recommended to allow the outfitter to apply for you in the elk draw. It may take several years to obtain this tag. No preference points are needed to draw the mule deer tag.

Application dates are January 1-31 for elk and Jan. 1 – Mar. 15 for deer. Elk licenses are drawn on February 28 and the deer license deadline is March 15 so a hunter desiring the combo hunt can wait to see if he draws the elk license before applying for deer which is 100% draw odds. The outfitter will also put you in for the deer draw after you draw for elk. A hunter’s safety card is required if born on or after January 1, 1966.

Includes meals, lodging, 2 hunters/guide, airport pick-up and drop-off, transportation of meats and mounts to processing plant or taxidermist.
