Hunt in southwest Alberta for trophy mule deer. This hunt takes place primarily on private ranches totaling over 30,000 acres. There is also 100,000 acres of public land available.

This unit has some tremendous mule deer bucks due to a limited amount of resident tags which are by draw only. Limited tags along with a harvest management program by the outfitter has resulted in some tremendous bucks being harvested. It is realistic to harvest a 175 B&C or better buck on this hunt. Bucks up to 200 B&C have been taken.

Hunting is done by walking and spot/stalking or using trucks to glass deer and then plan a stalk to get within range. The country is open grassland with deep draws. The grasslands are bordered by pine forests in the higher elevations. Locating deer is easy to do and seeing good numbers of bucks makes for an enjoyable hunt. Many hunters see 20+ bucks per day.

In addition to excellent rifle hunts, this outfitter has had tremendous success spotting and stalking trophy mule deer in archery season. Some of the biggest bucks are harvested by archers.

The outfitter has an 85% repeat client rate so openings are limited. Only four hunters are taken per hunt. Licenses are guaranteed through the outfitter.

Hunt includes: meals, lodging, guides, airport pick-up and drop-off.
