Here is a great opportunity to visit scenic eastern Wyoming to pursue bobcats. Methods include calling, hunting with dogs (if there is snow) and trapping. The outfitter is an experienced hunter / trapper who will teach you the ins and outs of taking these elusive predators. This is a great opportunity to experience three different methods to harvest a cat.
The cats in this region are the ones that bring the big dollars at auction because of their exceptional spotting, coloration and full coats. Hunters get to keep their harvested cat. Limit one cat per hunter. Past hunters have experienced a 100% success rate.
Hunter’s may also take coyotes. Recommended calibers are .223, 22-250 and other flat shooting varmint guns.
A hunter’s safety card is required if born on or after January 1, 1966. License cost is $300 and is only available to hunters / trappers that reside in a state that allow non-residents to hunt or trap bobcats in their state. Pennsylvania is considered an acceptable reciprocal state.
Includes meals, lodging, transportation during the hunt and 1×1 guiding.
3 Day Hunt - $1500 (Nov. 15 – Feb. 28) Best dates are late Nov., Dec. and January.
