Hunt private ranches in western South Dakota for pronghorn antelope. Primary hunting method is spot and stalk. Great mass and good prongs are characteristics of the primary ranch. Bucks average 73-80 with an occasional larger.

The antelope permit ($245) provides two tags, a buck and a doe, and hunters can shoot one of each on this hunt. The application deadline is usually in August with the hunts occurring the 1st two weeks in October.

This is beautiful country close to the Black Hills so there is lots to see and do after your hunt is over.
