Hunt private ranches in SE Wyoming in units that can be drawn with no preference points. Success rates normally run 100% for rifle hunts and close to 90% for archery.

Archery hunting is typically done out of blinds. Crossbows are legal to use during archery and firearm season. Two to four hunters are taken by their guide to blinds which are located at crossing areas or water sources. The guide then stays on the property to assist as needed.

Rifle hunting is via truck, spot and stalk or from blinds depending on the situation and hunter’s preference. Two hunters per guide on the rifle hunts.

The application period is Jan 1 – May 31. These units do not have leftover licenses so hunters need to book prior to the application deadline. License cost is $326 for the regular license and $614 for the special license plus $12.50 for the conservation stamp.

Includes: meals, lodging, guiding, field care and retrieval of animal to camp, caping of animal, delivery of animal to processor. 1×1 guiding can be provided for an additional $150/day.
