Hunt trophy desert bighorn sheep in Sonora, Mexico. This outfitter has two ranches for his sheep hunts and only takes four hunters per year. These are “no draw” guaranteed tags.

Five days prior to the hunt, the guides spot and size up the rams on the ranches so no time is wasted once the hunter arrives. Hunting methods include spotting rams from a truck or 4 wheeler, glassing until a trophy is located and then putting a stalk on. There is also some hiking into hard to reach areas. Hunters need to be in average shape. This is not a strenuous hunt but does require some hiking and climbing.

Past hunters have killed rams in the 160’s with some topping 170 — 100% opportunity rate on legal rams. Rifle hunters can expect shots to be from 200-350 yards. Can also take archery hunters.

Lodging is out of a motel at one ranch and tents out of the other. The tent camp does have hot water for showers.

Hunters fly into Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico where they are picked up and transported to the hunt area. At the hunt conclusion, hunters are also driven back to the airport or to a hotel in Hermosillo.

Hunt also includes: sheep license, lodging, meals, beer, trophy care, delivery of your ram to taxidermist in Hermosillo, in field transportation and two guides (sometimes three) per hunter. The outfitter will take care of your paperwork for hunting and weapons licenses, trophy exportation papers or shipping your mounted trophy back to you.

Not included are: hotel accommodations before and after hunt dates, taxidermy, packing, dipping and shipping of trophies, cost of mandatory councilor letter and gun permits. Weapons license is $250.

10 Day Hunt - $45,000 (includes sheep tag)
