What These Hunts Look Like

  • This is the type of hunt where it is the adventure you make it! Whether you a backcountry horseback hunt or on-foot in big country

  • Typically ranging from anywhere to a luxurious mountain ranch on managed private land hunt with controlled pressure to public land OTC horseback hunts out of a wall tent

  • Covering all seasons from Early Archery to Late Rifle. Most tags being purchased through state draw’s, some ranches having on demand but limited Land Vouchers.

Elevation, terrain, and difficulty can vary a lot.
We will walk through that with you before you book anything.

What to Expect?

  • A lot of the Elevation you will be hunting in is around 7,000–11,000 depending on the season and weather

  • Elk are where you find them! The typical terrain you chase elk in are thick timber pockets, high country basins, steep rugged country or sometimes an alfalfa field

  • One of the great thing about Western Elk Hunting is that the physical level varies depending on how or where you want to pursue you game. Although most hunts are challenging it can range from moderate 4×4 day hunts to very demanding backpack/horseback style hunts
